Look, I’m as affectionately fond of Spaghetti Westerns as the next guy in pointy elf ears, but my eyebrows flew up so hard when I saw this that I’m packing on ice to soothe my surprise-inflicted pain.

Someone is making a web series of a Zelda Western. I’m both thrilled and deeply confused. And for some reason really want to play Fallout: New Vegas for a bit as I sort this all out in my brain place.

Link appears to wander around in a green poncho thingy and will occasionally produce the “Master Shank” or something when people get his drink orders wrong or danger is afoot. It’s a big knife that fills the Master Sword niche.

It’s a series being presented by The Game Station over Youtube. They’re even pushing swag like T-shirts and wanted posters… All of which is fucking amazing. I’m loving it the more I look at and think about it. I’m already thinking of nasty letters to write Nintendo asking why they haven’t thought of this themselves and then demanding a game be made ASAP. Or I’ll just play Fallout instead and hope someone thinks up a cool mod.
