Sony: Paying the piper
Stuff on Sony is popping up so fast I can’t even find time to comment on all the other shit going on in the world.
Two things:
1) The first Class Action lawsuit has been filed against Sony. Filed in California, the Lawsuit addresses the breach and theft of data as well as the length of time Sony took to inform customers of a security breach.
2) Sony is likely to be slammed with over £500k in fines from the results of the recent breach in the UK.
Those are the things. There were two of them this time. Expect more next time. For now, I’m out.
